Implants
A dental implant replaces one or more missing teeth. They can be inserted into the upper and lower jaws, thus replacing the missing root of the tooth and serving as supports for future prosthetic work (crowns, bridges or dentures on implants). The procedure is completely painless and is usually performed in two stages: implant placement into the bone and mucous membrane covering, and after the healing period (3-6 months) an external prosthetic part, crown, bridge or denture is placed.
